Yes, of course. Although Chinese government imposes strict control preventing virus from expanding, we also have seen cases reported in some cities. Most importantly, Covid has made people’s pocket empty which holds back their buying inclination.
It should be similar to 2021. Considering of customers financial abilities, we might not see a very high demand year.
We will have a big pecan production year. In 2021, pecan production was very low. If there are going to be more nuts in the market, we shouldn’t be surprised if price slides.
We are the No.1 macadamia producer in the word. Planting is still expanding. With young trees growing, we are about to see tremendous output of macadamias in near future. It’s a promising industry.
China should be the biggest producer of walnuts, and also the biggest consumer. We have seen quality and quantity improved a lot. Walnut from Xinjiang has very high yield. From quality and taste perspective, China can surpass the others.
